Ideally located, Caen, the City of William the Conqueror, is a lively, bustling metropolis. Discover this historic city with its rich architectural heritage. It is famous for its medieval castle, the Château de Caen, once the residence of the Dukes of Normandy.
The city is also famous for its Abbey aux Hommes and Abbey aux Dames. Take the time to discover Bayeux, associated with its famous tapestry and cathedral.
After sampling the region's culinary specialties, head off to visit the D-Day Beaches and the Caen Memorial. The Normandy Landing, also known as D-Day, remains one of the most ambitious and decisive military operations in modern history. On June 6, 1944, Allied forces launched a massive offensive on the beaches of Normandy, marking the beginning of the liberation of Europe occupied by German forces during the Second World War.
Return to Caen at the end of the day.

Caen - Giverny - Paris
After breakfast, drive to Paris. On the way, make a stop at Giverny, home of Claude Monet, one of the founders of the Impressionist movement and creator of the Bassin aux Nymphéas. It's all in the details. Don't forget to take a look at his collection of Japanese prints, on display in several rooms of the house.
Enjoy lunch at Les Nymphéas restaurant, surrounded by climbing plants and colorful flowers. You'll round off your trip with a visit to the Musée des Impressionismes.
The trip draws to a close with a return to Paris at the end of the day, where you can enjoy a farewell dinner on the Seine.

Departure for the Château d'Azay-le-Rideau.
Visit a masterpiece of the early French Renaissance, combining French architectural tradition with the influence of Italian art in the decoration and layout of the facades. Inside, the Château d'Azay-le-Rideau boasts prestigious historic decors retracing 4 centuries of French history, as well as sumptuous collections of objects, tapestries and furniture. This masterpiece is reflected in a water mirror fed by the Indre River. You can also enjoy the lovely English-style park and its majestic tree.
We continue our tour to Chinon. Lunch in the city center. Then visit the Château de Chinon. Situated on its rocky spur on the borders of Anjou, Touraine and Poitou, the royal fortress of Chinon reflects the most prestigious hours of the Middle Ages.
To round off this wonderful day, we'll head for Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil, where you'll be welcomed by a winegrowing family. After a tour of the authentic wine storehouse and 10th-century troglodytic cellar, you'll be offered a wine tasting. Back to Tours.

We'll stroll through the streets of Blois for a bit of shopping.
Visit to the Château Royal de Blois, a veritable panorama of the history of the Châteaux de la Loire, with four façades
evoking four different eras. It's the only castle to have welcomed no fewer than 10 queens and 7 kings of France.
Lunch at leisure, then on to Chambord.
The icing on the cake of this beautiful trip will undoubtedly be the majestic white stone vessel, the Château de Chambord, which will dazzle you with its sheer size. This modest hunting lodge built by François 1er stands proudly above the treetops of its century-old trees. Don't miss the double-revolving staircase or the terrace, which offers an incredible panoramic view of the Boulogne forest. From the outside, admire the chimneys and lanterns that spike up the château's roof in an ever-increasing vertical movement.
If you feel like it, you can round off your visit with a gourmet tour of the Atelier de la Biscuiterie de Chambord, where you'll learn all about the history of the Palet Solognot.

Our first stop is at a family winery that has been in the same hands for over 4 generations. The estate is located between Nuits-Saint-Georges and Beaune, in a small village on the Hautes Côtes.
After lunch, we continue to Château de Vougeot. Although Château Clos de Vougeot no longer produces wine, it remains a symbol of over a thousand years of Burgundy history. Continue to Nuits St Georges in Nuits, where you can take part in a guided wine tasting.
Return to hotel and overnight in Dijon or Beaune.

We welcome you 30 meters deep into the limestone soil of Epernay to discover Mercier's treasures. Then return to the surface to sample a flute of Mercier Champagne.
Before returning to the pretty village of Hautvillers, you'll discover a cuisine based on seasonal produce and respect for this magnificent Champagne region.
Located in the heart of the Montagne de Reims vineyards, the village of Hautvillers is the birthplace of Champagne. It was here, in the former Benedictine abbey of Hautvillers, that the wine-making monk Dom Pérignon discovered the method of “champagnizing” wine in the 18th century, “champagnisation” of wine.
Dom Pérignon's tomb now lies in the choir of the abbey church of Saint-Sindulphe. Hautvillers is also a charming wine-growing village, with houses adorned with pretty wrought-iron signs.

Morning departure from Aix-en-Provence to discover the Luberon, the Vaucluse regional nature park, with its irresistibly charming old-fashioned villages.
First stop: Bonnieux, a perched village with an exceptional panorama stretching from the Petit Luberon to Mont-Ventoux and the Monts du Vaucluse.
Continuation to Roussillon.
Renowned for its cliffs and multi-hued ochre quarries, Roussillon boasts an astonishing color palette ranging from pale yellow to flamboyant red. Listed as one of France's “Most Beautiful Villages”, it is in perfect harmony with the ochre cliffs it overlooks. Its facades, roofs and alleyways are a photographer's delight. It is without doubt one of the most visited villages in the region.
The next stop of the day takes us to Gordes. For the last few kilometers on the approach to Gordes, the winding road has nothing on the horizon but the dry stone walls that line the roads and protect the houses from the mistral wind and prying eyes. Then, suddenly, at the bend in the road, the village emerges, majestic, standing guard over the Luberon.

The twenty or so inhabitants who still live within the walls jealously guard a unique historical heritage. Arrival in Bordeaux - Toulouse
Meet your guide at Bordeaux airport and transfer by coach to Toulouse.
Stopover in Moissac, the 1st tourist destination in the
Tarn-et-Garonne. It owes this position to its exceptional heritage, starting with the 12th-century Romanesque portal and cloister of the abbey. Both are listed as World Heritage Sites on the Santiago de Compostela pilgrimage route.

Day 2
Albi - Cordes sur Ciel
Meet your guide and depart for Albi. The omnipresent red brick of Albi sets the tone. The episcopal city of Albi has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since July 2010. Sainte-Cécile Cathedral is the largest brick cathedral in the world. Majestic and imposing, it can be seen from everywhere. A must-see architectural ensemble in the Tarn!

Carcassonne - Minerve

Day 4 Toulouse - Lourdes

Day 7
La région viticole du Médoc
Discover the Médoc region, between the Gironde estuary, the Landes forest and the Atlantic Ocean.
It offers magnificent landscapes with vineyards as far as the eye can see.
Tasting of a Château Grand Cru in Saint Estèphe or Pauillac.
Free time in Pauillac for lunch.
Pauillac lies on the west bank of the Gironde. In the 19th century, it was the arrival point for transatlantic ships. Today, ships use it as a resting port. The port offers picturesque views across the river to the quays and is full of cafés and restaurants serving local wines.
In the afternoon, visit a winery followed by a tasting of Saint-Julien grands crus.

Arcachon Bay and the Dune du Pilat
Just an hour's drive from Bordeaux, the Bassin d'Arcachon is a wonderful place, with its beaches, the Dune du Pilat, Île aux oiseaux, the Cap Ferret peninsula with its small fishing village and oyster producers.
You'll discover Arcachon, the villages and the high country which, even in winter, retains a special charm with its Belle Epoque architecture.
